I find it a very rewarding experience to paint digitally. As the pixels are filled with color, an otherwise inanimate object, the computer screen, comes to life. Each mouse movement creates another wave of spontaneous bursts of color, objects begin to appear, as if by magic. Clouds begin to form, mountains appear, flowers bloom, streams fill with water, and fields become visible. An atmosphere, for the entire painting, emerges.

The original digital paintings presented here are from a series of limited edition signed and numbered prints. The canvas is a computer monitor and the brush is the computer's mouse. There are no special programs, scanners, or "tricks" used to create these paintings. Each painting is finely detailed and represents an average of fifty hours to create.

I have tried, within these pages, to give the viewer, a total digital experience.

I truly hope you experience a pleasant journey and I would love to hear any comments that you may have. These pages were created with you in mind.

Please note: I have been receiving a great deal of inquiries about the digital process. The "ongoing tips" section below, will answer many of your questions, and I will keep this section very current. I will answer every question in a timely fashion, and I will personally email you a response.
